A Detroit man faces serious charges following a vehicular incident that resulted in the death of another resident. Zaughn Dontell Coleman, 29, has been accused of second-degree murder among other offenses after allegedly hitting Quintell Ray's car at a high speed, as reported by the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. According to the information from The Detroit News, the crash occurred late Friday evening on Seven Mile Road near Greenview Avenue. Both men were taken to a hospital where Ray, aged 40, later died.
Coleman, who has a record of several prior infractions, was already facing charges related to reckless driving, driving without insurance, and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. The fatal crash adds to his legal troubles, with Coleman being arraigned through the 36th District Court.
