The Detroit Police Department is actively searching for a 25-year-old man, Henry Pratt, who went missing last Friday from his home on Somerset Avenue, as they have detailed in a recent public plea for assistance. ClickOnDetroit reported that Pratt was last observed wearing a dark gray jacket, a blue t-shirt, and gray sweatpants, and potentially carrying a black backpack.
Standing at 5 feet 10 inches with black hair and brown eyes, Pratt's description has been widely circulated in the hopes of a sighting that will lead to his whereabouts; the Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons Facebook page has also echoed this call for aid directing any information to the 5th Precinct, emphasized the critical nature of the situation considering Pratt's mother has stated her son suffers from a mental health challenge, specifically bipolar disorder and schizophrenia complicating his disappearance with concerns for his well-being.
Officials are urging the public to come forward with any piece of information they might possess regarding Henry's last known movements or current location with the reassurance that every detail, no matter how trivial it seems, could be the key to bringing Henry back safely to his family and community.
Anyone with knowledge about Pratt's disappearance or whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Detroit Police Department’s 5th Precinct at 313-596-5540 or to anonymously reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up, as these avenues remain open for those who wish to contribute to the ongoing search for the missing 25-year-old man, in the hope that unity in action may yield results where the uncertainty of waiting stands cold and stark against the backdrop of a community in concern.
