
The Detroit Police Department has issued an appeal to the public for assistance in locating Amanda Vinton, a 34-year-old woman reported missing in Detroit since June 6. Vinton was last in contact with her mother while at the 8600 block of Dennison Street, and she has not been seen or reachable since then, according to information shared on Click On Detroit.
Vinton is described as 5 feet 2 inches in height, with strawberry blond hair tied in a ponytail, hazel eyes, and weighing 110 pounds, at the time of her disappearance she was wearing pink shorts along with white sandals, her mother reports that she suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, which may add urgency to her safe recovery.
To spread the word and solicit the community's help, the Detroit Police Department's 4th Precinct has provided their contact number, 313-596-5440, for anyone with information regarding Amanda Vinton's whereabouts, additionally, tipsters can also contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-Speak Up.
