Din Tai Fung's latest expansion doesn't stray from its roots, sporting an expo kitchen where customers can observe the delicate craft of dumpling-making firsthand, as per LA Eater. The careful design by Rockwell Group draws inspiration from classic Chinese pavilions, augmented by plenty of seating inside and a controlled climate patio. A new merchandise line has also rolled out in tandem with the opening, and while cocktails are immediately on offer, an expanded selection of beer and wine is expected to accompany the full launch in July.
Despite the new locale, patrons can anticipate a consistent culinary experience – the Downtown Disney venue is serving up the same loved menu that can be found at its other Los Angeles outposts. The chronological process of snagging a spot through Yelp will soon give way to the hustle and bustle characteristic of Din Tai Fung spots, marking another must-visit dining destination within Disney's portfolio.
