The collision proceeded to claim the lives of the driver and three occupants at the scene, while a fourth passenger was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead shortly after. 11Alive's NBC affiliate WALB reported the vehicle had struck a parked tractor-trailer on the interstate's right shoulder, amplifying the accident's severity. Among the victims was 22-year-old Serigne Mbodji from Atlanta, the only individual identified by authorities thus far.
