Four suspects are now in custody following an aggravated robbery incident in Harris County. Constable Mark Herman's deputies swiftly responded to a distress call yesterday, after a victim reported being held at gunpoint and robbed on the 11700 block of Spears Road. Thanks to the victim's ability to track their stolen phone, authorities were able to apprehend the alleged perpetrators.
Arrested at the scene were Alberto Figueroa and Alexis Torres, the latter of whom had an outstanding warrant tally of nine Class C misdemeanors, according to the Precinct 4 Constable's Facebook page. Additionally, ensuing investigations at the location yielded two more individuals; Gabriel DeLaPaz, and Juan Torres who had been sought for multiple failings, including open warrants for Theft, Failure to Appear in court on a possession of controlled substance charge, and Possession of Controlled Substance along with eight Class C Misdemeanor Warrants.
"They were all arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Alberto Figueroa and Alexis Torres were charged with Aggravated Robbery. Gabriel DeLaPaz and Juan Torres were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for their warrants," as relayed by Constable Mark Herman. All four suspects are currently awaiting further legal proceedings, and as of this report, information regarding their bonds and court dates have not been released.
