Downtown Buford became the canvas for hate over the weekend, as the Gwinnett County Police Department continues its search for two individuals caught on surveillance footage committing acts of vandalism. In the early hours of June 4, the pair is seen defacing a dumpster and other properties with racist language, the incident also captured on camera as they splattered their contempt across the heart of the city.

According to FOX 5 Atlanta, one of the vandals is a heavy-set male, sporting yellow shorts with squares, black slides, and a shirt wrapped around his head accompanied by a white face covering. His accomplice, a tall and skinny figure, wore a gray sweatshirt, mask, white Crocs paired with high calf socks - their disguises a feeble attempt to hide their identities and the gravity of their actions.

While their faces were concealed, security footage revealed the deliberate nature of their misconduct. As reported by 11Alive, they approached the dumpster at the intersection of East Main St and South Harris Street, applying their hateful rhetoric to the doors and right side, then turning their attention to a nearby street sign and business facade at 50 East Main St, before vanishing toward the shadow of the train tracks.
