Quick action from local law enforcement led to the arrest of two suspects following a drive-by shooting last week in Harris County. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were summoned to a residence on the 7400 block of Foxwaithe Lane on June 23 after receiving a report of a shooting incident. The complainant described the assailants fleeing in a white vehicle after firing at the dwelling.
Functioning swiftly, the Constable Deputies spread out across the neighborhood and successfully located the suspected vehicle. They conducted an organized traffic stop which resulted in the detention of Jalen Williams and Ernest McMillan. A thorough search of the suspects' vehicle corroborated the presence of a firearm, further implicating the individuals in the crime.
In a statement released on the official Facebook page of Constable Precinct 4, Constable Mark Herman detailed the arrests, stating, “Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Deadly Conduct. Jalen Williams' bond was set at $2,500.00 out if the 228th District Court. Ernest McMillian's bond was set at $30,000.00 out of the 228th District Court."
