On the quiet streets of Harris County, the stillness of a night disrupted by the flashing blue lights—an all too common scene—drew attention to a suspicious vehicle and the slumber of Marleigh Driggers within. According to a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies responded to a call on June 16, about the vehicle parked on the 21800 block of Kardy Street.
When the constables arrived on the scene, they didn't just find Driggers asleep but also glimpsed narcotics and drug paraphernalia plainly visible, a first glance into what would become a case of possession of a controlled substance and, despite the peaceful exterior a vehicle often promises it became the center of a drug possession case. "Marleigh Driggers was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance," Herman stated, reporting that Driggers was subsequently held on a $1,500.00 bond set by the 339th District Court.
