
Houston police are currently piecing together the events that unfolded on Mossrose Street early Sunday morning, which resulted in the tragic loss of one life and left another individual with injuries. The investigation centers around a shooting that took place around 1:45 a.m. at 7031 Mossrose Street.
Upon their arrival, HPD patrol officers discovered two males with gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene by the Houston Fire Department paramedics. His identity has yet to be formally confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The second male victim was fortunate enough to quickly be transported to an area hospital, where he is reportedly in stable condition. As it currently stands, law enforcement officials have no clear suspect description to work off of.
As stated in the official report by HPD Homicide Division's Sergeant N. Miyako and Detective L. Gonzales, the search is on-going for any persons that might be connected to this violent incident.
