
Houston law enforcement is currently piecing together the events that led to a young man's death at an apartment complex on Selinsky Road on Wednesday evening. As reported by the City of Houston News, the victim, a 17-year-old whose name has not been disclosed, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Waterwall and C. Vaughn, HPD patrol officers responded to the call around 7:25 p.m. and found the unresponsive male in the parking lot. The officers provided medical assistance until Houston Fire Department paramedics, who pronounced the victim deceased, arrived on the scene.
While the investigation is ongoing, two individuals have been identified as persons of interest. As of yet, the authorities have not filed charges. The police are urging anyone with relevant information to step forward. "Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS," says the official statement.
