Coming on board with three decades of experience in the field, Curran has worked on development and engineering projects both minuscule and monumental across the Western US and internationally. Carrying titles like consulting engineer and business executive, Curran's most recent stint was with 29th Street Capital, Phoenix, where he executed roles culminating in the development of multi-family and build-to-rent projects valued over $250 million. Peoria's recent announcement detailed his varied assignments.
Curran's role, which he commenced on June 3, was instituted for steering the city's expansive capital projects and burgeoning private development efforts. With Peoria experiencing a dramatic spurt in growth, the selection of Curran seems like a strategic move. According to a statement obtained by the City of Peoria, Darwin asserted, "Jeff’s professional experience in civil engineering, strategic planning, and land development, is very impressive and we are fortunate to bring him on board, as we have many large capital improvement projects and private development projects either underway, or in the pipeline." Also, the city expressed gratitude to Dan Nissen for his recent duty as Interim Director in maintaining the city's developmental momentum.
The University of Washington alum holds both a Bachelor's and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering degrees.
