Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office deputies helped establish a perimeter swiftly, ensuring the individual couldn’t elude capture and eventually they found the San Francisco man at the hardware store's checkout.

Upon arrest, the individual—a probationer in Santa Clara County with a history of offenses—was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, narcotics, and paraphernalia, along possession of burglary tools and probation violations considering the suspect’s criminal past, his apprehension is seen as a significant step in community protection. The suspected wrongdoer was booked into the Santa Clara Main Jail with multiple codes including 10851(a) CVC, 11377(a) HS, 11364 HS, and 466 PC.
