For anyone in Austin or Dallas who has a craving for sushi but would rather not swap their loungewear for actual clothes, there's good news: Hai Hospitality has announced that Uchi, Uchiko, and Uchiba are offering a luxe sushi experience delivered straight to your door. Beginning June 18, these upscale spots will Uber Eats their customers a fancy "jewel box of sushi," which comes, interestingly enough, in a box made of silk. So, maybe consider upgrading to silk pajamas to match the opulence of your meal.

The menu for these sushi boxes was created by executive pastry chef Ariana Quant. There are three different boxes offered—named Ichi, Ni, and San; which translate from Japanese as 1, 2, and 3 respectively. According to Austin Eater, the Ichi box starts at $95 and includes 12 pieces of curated nigiri and more. The middle-tier Ni box at $195 throws in an elegant chirashi, a chef's blend of sashimi over rice among other upscale sushi samplings. And for those willing to splurge, the San box costs $295 and adds luxury with caviar and complementary sides.

Pre-orders for these sushi assortments started on June 17, but the real deal rolls out for delivery and pickup today. The boxes, described as a high-end home dining solution, appear to be designed not only for sushi lovers but also for those who appreciate the finer things—right down to the packaging. "Elevate the at-home experience," Ariana Quant mentioned in a statement obtained by The Dallas Morning News.

While they are a treat for Austin and Dallas residents, these aren’t your every day sushi takeaways. Boxes are in limited daily supply, so those interested in indulging should likely act quickly. For Dallas locals, they can pick up their orders from Uchi and Uchiba on Maple Avenue, or check out the new Uchiko location in Plano's Legacy West, which officially opens its doors today. Anyone outside the vicinity, or who simply doesn't want to leave their silk-sheeted bed, can place their order via Uber Eats for a touch of luxury without the hassle.
