
A deadly encounter unfolded last Friday evening in a southwest Houston parking lot, where a man was fatally stabbed, leading to another's detention. Houston police said the incident took place around 7 p.m. outside a Walgreens on the 6700 block of Hillcroft at Bellaire Boulevard.
The confrontation began as a fight between two men, escalating quickly to violence. According to the Houston Chronicle, HPD Detective M. Barton could not say for certain what spurred the altercation. Authorities were swift to respond, and one of the men was taken into custody shortly after the stabbing took place.
