
Tragedy struck a Houston community last night when a man was found dead following a fire that engulfed a trailer home in the south of Harris County. FOX 26 Houston reports that the Houston Fire Department received a call about a house fire on the 3600 block of Thistle Street around 7:30 p.m., arriving to battle smoke and flames visible upon arrival.
Efforts to extinguish the blaze were swift, unfortunately, it was during their intervention that firefighters discovered the body of a man, marking a somber turn to an already grave situation, meanwhile, the HFD Arson and the sheriff's office have begun an investigation to uncover the dynamics that led to the fire, and consequently, the man's untimely death.
Confirmation of the incident came also from the Harris County Sheriff's Office, via a post, indicating that their investigators were responding to the fire-related call where the adult male was found deceased inside the residence. Details surrounding the identity of the man and the cause of the fire have yet to be released as inquiries continue.
