Law enforcement managed to peacefully detain him at his residence later that afternoon, effectively ending the standoff. Witnesses have shared accounts that might illuminate the suspect's prior behavior. "A couple of times he came into our backyard, like trespassing, trying to start problems. He had come at my father-in-law with a knife before. By the time we went outside, he was already running back to his house," a local resident named Angelina told KTVU in an interview via Hoodline.
