In the early hours of Thursday, an eruption of violence marred the city's landscape as Atlanta Police were called to the scene of a shooting on Peachtree Road. According to Atlanta Police Department, a 26-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds at approximately 1:53 a.m. at 3500 Peachtree Rd NE.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was urgently transported by EMS to a nearby hospital. Officials confirmed that he was in stable condition upon arrival. The Atlanta Police Department Zone 2 officers were first to respond, and investigators have since been poring over the scene to piece together what had transpired.
