The Boston Police Department was called to 80 Westwind Road around 9:00 p.m., near the scenic waterfront backdrop of Dorchester, as reported by Boston 25 News. The victim, fortunately, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to the hospital for medical treatment. NBC Boston adds that no arrests were made in relation to the shooting, as of now.
In response to the incident, law enforcement officers launched an extensive search. They combed the area both on foot along the Boston Harborwalk and patrolled the nearby waters with police boats.
