The victim was engaged in the seemingly safe act of pumping gas when an unidentified assailant tried to forcibly rob him at gunpoint.
The situation escalated quickly, leading the suspect to shoot the victim in the arm. The injured man was able to flag down DeKalb County police officers to alert them of the crime. According to details provided by Atlanta News First, emergency medical services were swiftly dispatched and the man was transported for treatment to an area hospital. The victim's current condition remains unreported.
