
An altercation at an East Harris County gas station spiraled into violence last night, as a man suffered gunshot wounds following a heated argument with another individual. The Harris County Sheriff's Office reported that the shooting occurred Saturday night at approximately 7 p.m. at a gas station on the corner of East Wallisville Road and Prairie Street, according to Click2Houston.
The authorities have said that the victim, who has not yet been named, was outside the gas station when the dispute began, leading to the suspect drawing a firearm and discharging it at the victim deputies who arrived quickly at the scene provided critical initial treatment right there on the pavement, the victim was subsequently flown to a hospital; where their condition is currently listed as stable. An announcement by the Sheriff Ed Gonzalez via X confirmed that the suspect fled the scene post-shooting, and detectives are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the responsible individual.
