The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is on an active hunt for a missing 15-year-old, asking the public for assistance. Kallie Williams, a student at Pontiac High School, has been unaccounted for since last Thursday when she was last seen at her school, attending all her day's classes.
As reported by FOX 2 Detroit, Kallie's disappearance has sparked concern, especially because she "has no known family in the area and is new to Pontiac." Standing 5-feet 4-inches tall and weighing 135 pounds, Williams has brown hair and hazel eyes. On the day of her disappearance, she wore gray khaki shorts and a black zip-up jacket, her mother informed detectives.
Complications arose after Kallie was denied a place to stay with acquaintances from school. Her friends' homes have also been checked to no avail, as ClickOnDetroit outlined.
WWJ Newsradio shared that authorities were informed of Williams's recent discipline following the discovery of a vape pen by her parents. The sheriff's office is taking this matter seriously, rigor to locate Williams, urging anyone with information to contact at 248-858-4950.
