
The Plymouth community faced a somber moment this past weekend as the search for the missing 69-year-old Rodney Riviello came to a tragic end. According to the Plymouth Police Department's Facebook page, Riviello was found deceased outdoors in Plymouth on Saturday afternoon. He had vanished four days earlier, on June 17.
Following the report of Riviello's disappearance, an extensive search was launched, with numerous volunteers and local authorities combing the area. The loss of Mr. Riviello has surely left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. Police Chief Dana Flynn and Fire Chief Neil Foley expressed "sincere condolences to Mr. Riviello's family and loved ones." They also extended thanks to everyone who dedicated their time and effort to the search.
The circumstances of Riviello's disappearance and the cause of his death have, as of yet, not been revealed. Official statements have noted that further information will be available in the following days.
