Chaos erupted in Miami-Dade Friday evening when a gunman on a dirt bike took aim at two men in a car and left them wounded in a brazen drive-by attack. Police are now hunting for the shooter, who vanished after the shocking incident.
Violence erupted just before 7 p.m. in Pinewood when someone on a dirt bike shot at a white Infiniti, according to NBC Miami. The two men inside were hit but are expected to survive. They were struck in the arms and legs and are now in stable condition at the hospital.
Miami-David Detective Argemis Colome provided a snapshot of the aftermath, confirming that the two victims were hospitalized in stable condition after suffering wounds to their "outer extremities," Local 10 News was on scene at Jackson Memorial Hospital when one of the victims was wheeled into the emergency room.
The motivation behind the shooting remains unknown authorities continue their search for keys that might unlock the motive behind this drama; meanwhile, the suspect remains a specter fleeing the scene before the police could close the net, there's been no word on whether the cops have a line on who the rider was nor why he unleashed a fury of bullet upon the two men in the white Infiniti.
