The victim, a man in his 20s, was reportedly shot in the lower abdomen, and is in critical condition.
The incident took place late Friday night just before midnight. San Antonio police responded to a call, and upon arrival, discovered the injured man, who was then transported to a local hospital. It was during the party that Charles, who reportedly became intoxicated, pulled out a firearm and shot the victim. Charles was detained at the scene by police.
