
A San Antonio man sustained a stab wound to his arm yesterday evening, and police officials say he is not cooperating with their investigation. According to KENS5, the altercation occurred on the 1200 block of Menchaca near Hamilton and Poplar streets, where the victim tried to retrieve his belongings from an unknown assailant.
Officers responded to the scene around 10:20 p.m. where they found the 42-year-old victim; he had attempted to punch the suspect in the face leading to an exchange of blows after which the suspect stabbed the victim in the arm and fled, the victim's initial refusal to provide information has left authorities without a suspect description. The victim later received medical attention at University Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
FOX San Antonio also reported on the stabbing, stating that the event took place around 10:30 p.m. on Menchaca Street near North Zarzamora Street. Police have begun their investigation into the incident, though details in regards to the suspect remain scant due to the victim's lack of cooperation.
As the investigation into the stabbing continues, law enforcement urges anyone with information to come forward.
