Friday's late-night patrol took a turn for the San Antonio Police Department when they spotted a stolen vehicle, leading to the arrest of three individuals, including one with a hefty rap sheet. Around 10:43 p.m., officers on E. Southcross observed the stolen car in motion, prompting a swift response. Aided by eyes in the sky from a police helicopter, the tracking of the vehicle culminated at an apartment complex on the 11700 block of Parliament Street, as reported by FOX San Antonio.
The situation escalated when the police, with their sights set on a potential gun amongst the suspects following the stolen car, surrounded the complex. They then proceeded to coax the suspects out of the apartment. According to information obtained by KTSA, the suspects, including 21-year-old William Martin and two teenagers, emerged peacefully from the unit.
Martin, the alleged operator of the stolen car, was slapped with charges stemming from an outstanding warrant for aggravated robbery and evading arrest. His companions were found to be entangled with the law as well, nabbed with active warrants for theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, making this incident a trifecta of arrests for SAPD.
