The Northeast wind, which might start at 6 mph could pick up to a brisk 13 mph before shifting to north northwest later in the morning.
Tonight, those out late can expect the good weather to continue, with the forecast calling for mostly clear skies and a low of around 54 degrees. To carry us through the evening, the north wind will settle down to a gentle 5 to 10 mph, transitioning to east-northeast after the sun dips below the horizon.
The sunny streak is set to hold through the rest of the week. On Thursday, the NWS predicts a high near 78, and for those planning to star gaze, the night sky will likely be clear with the low hovering around 56 degrees. "Sunny, with a high near 79," is the expected forecast for Friday, ensuring that the pleasant conditions will not be fleeting.
