San José Police Department is actively seeking the public's help to identify three individuals linked to an armed robbery and attempted homicide that occurred earlier this year. The incident took place on Valentine's Day, February 14, at a local cannabis dispensary on Charter Park Drive. According to the official SJPD press release, the robbery unfolded at around 4:25 AM when four suspects reportedly forced entry into the establishment. While one assailant stood guard outside, the others looted the premises.

The situation escalated quickly when the suspects attempted to escape and were confronted by on-site security. A gunshot was fired by one of the suspects in the direction of a security officer, yet, fortunately, no injuries were reported. In their haste to quickly to flee the scene, the suspects discharged at least one more round. One of the suspects has since been apprehended after a lengthy investigation by the San José Police Robbery Unit, which led to the seizure of a loaded stolen handgun, additional ammunition, multiple vehicle license plates, and the issuance of an arrest and a search warrant on May 28, 2024. The arrested individual is now facing charges of armed robbery and attempted homicide.

Despite this progress, authorities continue to track down the three suspects, believed to be adult males in their twenties and standing at heights ranging from 5'5" to 5'8". The SJPD encourages anyone with information that could aid the suspects' capture to come forward, offering anonymity for those who wish to remain out of the public eye. Tips can be reported through various channels, including the P3TIPS mobile app, the Crime Stoppers tip line, and the Silicon Valley Crime Stomers' website, with the potential for a cash reward for information leading to arrests.

Community involvement is imperative during such times, for it is often the keen eye of a neighbor or the whisper from a corner that brings the hidden out into the light. Detective Yee, #4342 of the San José Police Robbery Unit, is the assigned investigator for this case and can be reached directly via email or phone.
