According to surveillance video, the suspect is a white male in his 20s, sporting a thin build and brown hair, and was last seen wearing a variety of casual clothing. His attire included a brown baseball cap, glasses, a peach-colored polo shirt, and light-colored shorts, along with white socks and gray-and-white shoes. Captured on camera, the man’s frustration with a jammed package drop box escalated to vandalism.
As reported by FOX 7 Austin, the vandalism took place around 10:30 p.m. on May 19, at the Bugg Lane location. After an unsuccessful attempt in forcibly trying to pry the drop box open, the suspect then proceeded to kick a monitor twice in the self-service area. Before leaving the premises in a silver SUV, he left another mark of his anger on the entering door, cracking the glass with a final kick.
Authorities are keen on closing this case and have reached out to the public for any leads.
