Over the weekend, San Mateo County Sheriff's Deputies put an end to a disruptive Montara party, leading to the arrest of two convicted felons on charges of illegally possessing firearms and other offenses. Authorities were called to the scene in the early hours of Sunday due to complaints of excessive noise from a bustling house party, a report by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
The deputies' arrival coincided with the sighting of a vehicle with ties to a previously documented criminal act, the occupants of which were caught exhibiting behavior that raised suspicions and prompted law enforcement to detain them at gunpoint before they were able to reach further into their pockets. A search revealed one of the suspects, identified as Paris France Davis, a 27-year-old from Santa Ana, in possession of two concealed, loaded Glock automatic firearms; he was found to have an active warrant out from the Los Angeles Police Department. His accomplice, 29-year-old Robert Earl Davis from Oakland, was found with a Glock featuring an extended magazine, drugs, paraphernalia, and a substantial sum of cash.
In their custody report, deputies listed multiple charges against the duo, which included felonies for firearm and ammunition possession, as well as drug-related offenses for Robert Earl Davis, who was also charged with obstructing a peace officer. Both men were booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility following the incident, and they now await the judicial process to address the allegations leveled against them.
