The collision occurred on March 22 when 17-year-old Brendan was struck by a red minivan while riding a miniature motorcycle with friends. According to 12 News, the accident happened around 7:20 p.m. near Seventh Street and Thunderbird Road in Phoenix. The perpetrator, described as a roughly 50-year-old woman with brown hair and shorts, fled the scene after being confronted by a witness. Brendan sustained serious injuries from the impact, including broken legs, and is still in the process of recovering. As reported by ABC15, the vehicle thought to be involved is possibly a 2008-2012 Chrysler Pacifica.
