Local authorities are currently conducting a search for Roy Solfisburg III, an 81-year-old man reported missing in North Miami Beach. The North Miami Beach Police have confirmed Solfisburg was last seen early Saturday morning, in the vicinity of Northeast 182nd Street, specifically the 2100 block.
Solfisburg, who was last noted wearing a blue and white striped shirt along with khaki pants, stands 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He departed the area on foot, the police emphasized, and due to his lack of transportation—given that he neither drives nor possesses a cell phone—, his disappearance has raised considerable concerns about his wellbeing. According to the North Miami Beach Police, he also requires daily medication which adds to his status as a "missing endangered" person, as reported by WSVN.
The community appeal for any information has been echoed across social media platforms. Crime Watch Miami shared details of his disappearance on instagram, urging the public to contact the authorities if they have any pertinent information that could assist in locating Solfisburg.
Authorities are asking that anyone who has seen Solfisburg or has knowledge of his whereabouts to step forward. Detective units are actively following up on any leads, and the importance of public assistance in these critical moments cannot be overstated. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the North Miami Beach Police Department at 305-949-5500, where each call, could provide a piece to the puzzle of Solfisburg's current location.
