
Two people were taken to the hospital Thursday morning following a single-vehicle crash on north Interstate 35 in Austin, reported KXAN. The accident, which occurred near the Parmer Lane exit, resulted in one person being partially ejected from the vehicle. Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services responded to the incident at around 10:15 a.m. in the 12400 block of the interstate.
The patient who was partially ejected was quickly declared a trauma alert by the medics on the scene. According to ATCEMS's social media post, the emergency services were swift to immediately transport both individuals involved to Dell Seton Medical Center. One of the patients sustained minor injuries while the other suffered from potentially serious injuries. The precise dynamics of the crash have yet to be fully ascertained by authorities.
