
Seattle's Rainier Valley was the scene of a shooting yesterday afternoon that has left two men hospitalized, one in serious condition and the other in critical. According to a report by the Seattle Police Department, the incident occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. in the 7900 block of Rainier Avenue South. Identified by officers who provided immediate medical aid, both victims were soon after transported to Harborview Medical Center.
In response to the gunfire report, officers were dispatched and arrived at the shooting location where the two adult males were found injured. The Seattle Fire Department personnel took over medical aid following the officers' initial efforts. Securing the scene, police began to process it for evidence in an investigation that is being led by detectives from the Gun Violence Reduction Unit.
