
The performance of a select group of United States Marines has been officially recognized during ITX 4-24, as the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals were awarded to commend their exceptional efforts and contributions. According to the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, the distinguished Marines honored include GySgt Valadez, Sgt Zaragoza, Cpl Antillon, and Cpl Harris, each receiving the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for their commendable performance.
Additionally, the accolades continued with Cpl Ortiz, who was awarded a Certificate of Commendation in recognition of his meritorious service, these honors reflecting the high-caliber professionalism and dedication inherent to the Marine ethos. The awards were presented amidst acknowledgments and commendations with the term "Bravo Zulu," a naval signal meaning "well done," is aptly applied to celebrate the achievements of these service members.
The ceremony that took place was a testament to the rigorous training and steadfast commitment of the VMFA-112 Cowboys, a unit stationed as part of the Marine Corps Reserves under the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) and Marine Aircraft Group 41 (MAG-41).
