Woman Shot While Attempting to Defuse Youth Fight in Atlanta, Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward

Late last week, a 50-year-old woman was shot while trying to intervene in a youth brawl, with the incident occurring on Middleton Rd NW. According to a press release from the Atlanta Police Department, officers received the call at around 10:41 p.m. on June 9 and found the victim with gunshot wounds upon their arrival.

The unidentified woman was swiftly transported to a local hospital where she was reported to be in stable condition.
