A 14-year-old boy tragically lost his life after being shot multiple times in an incident at the Plaza at Hobby Airport apartment complex in southeast Houston. As reported by FOX26 Houston, the shooting occurred around 12:47 a.m. Thursday at 8501 Broadway Street. The young victim was inside an apartment when the suspect fired through the bedroom window from outside the residence.
Authorities have yet to apprehend the gunman but are actively seeking a suspect described as an African American male, believed to be in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweater and light-colored sweatpants. Houston police seem to believe the shooting was not a random act, suggesting that the victim may have been targeted specifically.
