
A 15-year-old male has been arrested and charged with the murder of 14-year-old Jasper Davis, who was shot at the Mondawmin Metro Center on the evening of July 21. The Baltimore Police Department reported that the suspect turned himself in five days after the shooting and is now facing first-degree murder charges.

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Western District on July 21, 2024, investigators have arrested a 15-year-old male.

According to the Baltimore Police's post, another victim, a 19-year-old male, was injured during the incident. The shooting took place in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, an area that promptly saw Western District patrol officers and MTA Police responding to the report of the gunfire around 8:10 p.m.
Both victims were transported to local hospitals, where Jasper Davis later succumbed to his injuries. The suspect's identity has not been released due to his status as a juvenile. He voluntarily appeared at the Baltimore Police Headquarters, which led to his subsequent transport to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
