
Early this morning, in the pre-dawn hours of Atlanta's southwest side, a 63-year-old man fell victim to gunfire while seated inside his vehicle. According to a report issued by the Atlanta Police Department, officers from Zone 3 were dispatched to the vicinity of 262 Arthur Langford Jr. Pl. SW around 1:39 a.m. following a report of a shooting.
The officers discovered the man suffering from what was described as a graze injury. Though wounded, he maintained consciousness and was able to communicate. An ambulance swiftly transported him to an the local hospital for further medical attention. The preliminary investigation into the shooting revealed that the injury occurred while the victim was inside his vehicle.
