66-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Pickup Truck on San Antonio's East Side

A fatal accident occurred early yesterday morning on the East side of San Antonio, resulting in the death of a 66-year-old woman who was struck by a pickup truck. The incident transpired near the intersection of Rigsby and S. WW White Road at approximately 6:00 am. Details from the scene indicate that an SUV endeavoring to turn onto S. WW White Road necessarily had to swerve to avoid the pedestrian.

Despite their efforts, the unidentified woman sustained life-threatening injuries, requiring immediate hospitalization. Tragically, shortly after arriving at the hospital, she was pronounced deceased by the attending medical staff.
