An 86-year-old man, Robert Cowden, was pronounced dead following a tractor accident in Cecil Township on Wednesday evening. According to a report by WPXI, the incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. along Ciaffoni Road.
Cecil Township Police are currently looking into how the crash unfolded. The accident did not seem to result in any immediate hospitalizations, as county 911 dispatchers reported around 8 p.m. that no one was taken to the hospital from the scene, although medics were present, as per information reported by WTAE.
The nature of the medical emergency has not been disclosed at this time, leaving the cause of the accident and Cowden's death under investigation.
