The City of Kannapolis is expanding its business district with a new arrival, Alta Warehousing & Logistics, a family-owned company with a specialization in beverages. Their newest facility, nestled within the freshly constructed Davidson 85 space at 5418 Davidson Highway, offers 146,628 square feet of prime real estate ready for the company's operations. Alta is expected to initiate business activities in September, launching their operations from the strategically located site near I-85 and Kannapolis Parkway.

The move marks an entry into North Carolina for Alta, adding a seventh location to their U.S. portfolio. The completion of Davidson 85 by McCraney Property Company signals the area’s growing stature as a hub for logistical enterprises. "We are thrilled to call Kannapolis our newest home. The McCraney team built a beautiful building, and we look forward to putting it to good use!  This facility will serve as a warehouse and distribution center for a beverage company" voiced Michl Haralambos, Vice President of Business Development for Alta, in statement obtained by the City of Kannapolis's news page.

Established in 1991 by the Haralambos Family, Alta originated as a sister company to Haralambos Beverage Co. With its roots firmly planted in Redlands, CA, Alta has solidified its reputation in the warehouse and logistics sector, specifically catering to the needs of beverage companies across the nation. The opening of the Kannapolis location underscores a commitment to regional expansion and investment in communities that appreciate the intersection of manufacturing prowess and distribution efficiency.

According to the City of Kannapolis announcement, Alta’s decision to set up shop in Kannapolis reflects a confidence in the region's economic growth a boon for job seekers and local businesses alike. Stay tuned as the beverage-focused warehouse springs into action later this year, marking yet another milestone for the city’s evolving commercial landscape.
