According to the Gonzales County Sheriff's Office, Lucas Mendez, 6, and his brother Lukane Mendez, 2, are believed to be in serious danger after their disappearance from Rosanky, Texas. KXAN News shared the descriptions provided in the alert: Lucas, approximately 4 feet 6 inches tall, was last seen in a blue shirt adorned with a shark graphic, blue shorts with gray stripes, and blue Sonic the Hedgehog Crocs.
The younger of the siblings, Lukane, weighs around 40 pounds and was last reported wearing a black shirt, and a white diaper. Authorities are also seeking 34-year-old Martin Mendez concerning the children's abduction and believe he is navigating the area on foot, according to KENS 5. The Amber Alert emphasizes the possibility that the children might be facing grave, or immediate risk.
Efforts to locate the Mendez brothers are continuing, and the Gonzales County Sheriff's Office is urging the public to come forward with any information that could aid in the recovery of Lucas and Lukane.
