In a move to improve accessibility and responsiveness to its residents, the City of Atlanta's customer service center, ATL311, is extending its operating hours for handling non-emergency concerns. As reported by FOX5 Atlanta, the hotline will now be available from 7 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday, widening the window by five hours beyond its previous closing time of 7 p.m.
Now, when a pothole appears on your street or graffiti mars your alley, help is available until midnight, minus the magic, but filled with utility. Additionally, as reported by Atlanta News First, ATL311's expanded services include a range of tasks from traffic signal repairs to maintaining public rights-of-way. This service provides a direct link to city departments responsible for tasks like trash collection and graffiti removal.
Reaching out to ATL311 has been made easy. Residents within city limits can dial 311, while those outside the boundaries can reach out at 404-546-0311. Moreover, information and service requests can also be processed through their website, ensuring multiple avenues for engagement with the city's non-emergency services.
