The material released depicts a tense pursuit that took place on July 18, where Atlanta Police Department officers identified and subsequently followed Davenport along the 2610 block of Metropolitan Parkway, a suspect alleged to have committed the machete attack on May 10; he allegedly attempted to escape law enforcement by maneuvering a bicycle through traffic, which led to him dropping the machete and even dodging cars whilst being pursued, and this struggle culminating in his apprehension after he abandoned his bicycle and tried fleeing on foot.
