On June 18, a man was found unresponsive at the foot of a stairway on 125 Ted Turner Dr. SW, perishing in the early dawn hours. The Atlanta Police Department, responding to the scene, encountered a bleak tableau: a life abruptly ended, a community etched with one more scar of violence.
Atlanta Police have now detained a suspect, Mikel Moore (D.O.B. 01/2000), in connection with this homicide. On July 23, he was apprehended by Zone 5 officers, who were alerted by Marta PD, according to a statement from the Atlanta Police Department. Despite the arrest, Mikiel Moore, like anyone accused, is presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law.
