The Atlanta Police Department is seeking assistance from the community following a burglary that transpired at a local storage facility. According to information from WSB-TV, officials responded to a break-in at the CubeSmart Self Storage on Whitehall Street Southwest on July 3, though the incident itself is said to have occurred on June 27.
Having not discovered until July 3, the burglary was subsequently reported by the facility’s management. Surveillance video footage depicts a suspect in the act of stealing several items. The Atlanta News First reports that authorities are currently looking for the public’s help in identifying the man captured on video entering the store and allegedly committing the crime.
While the exact details of the stolen items remain unreleased, the surveillance stills provided by authorities have been made public in hopes of garnering community assistance. As indicated by Atlanta News First, investigators have reached out to the public to come forward with any information they might have related to the burglary or the suspect involved.
