
The Austin Police Department is delving into the circumstances surrounding a man's death which marked the city's 34th homicide of the year. The incident unfolded in southeast Austin during the early hours of Thursday morning, as reported by KXAN.
Authorities were summoned to the scene at approximately 2:01 a.m., where they found a Hispanic male with grave injuries at the Array Apartments, situated on the 2000 block of Burton Dr. Efforts to rescue the victim proved futile as he was pronounced deceased at 2:26 a.m. Although law enforcement officers attempted life-saving measures upon arrival, the man’s injuries were beyond recovery, according to KVUE.
