Authorities are on the lookout for three individuals following a violent hit-and-run incident that caused an SUV to flip on Interstate 4 in Orange County. The crash occurred around 11 a.m. on Sunday when a red 2017 Chevrolet Camaro, reportedly weaving through traffic on I-4 West near Osceola Parkway, collided with a 2016 Hyundai Tucson, as reported by ClickOrlando.
The force of the crash sent the Tucson tumbling, though miraculously, the 20-year-old female driver of the SUV was unharmed. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the occupants of the Camaro fled the scene after the accident. They were later seen leaving in a gray or silver vehicle, as per video evidence obtained from the scene, the occupants, their identities still unknown, remain at large.
Further details were disclosed by WFTV, which released dash camera footage showing the Camaro's erratic movements shortly before striking the back of the Hyundai. The SUV was then veering off the road and flipping onto the shoulder.
In the aftermath of the incident, local law enforcement is seeking assistance from the public.
